MUSEUM RELEASE

From a warmer vintage, this wine is characterised by a tertiary lemon-curd richness.

We named our Rieslings after the Three Norns, the weird sisters who control destiny in Norse mythology. It seemed appropriate nomenclature when presenting wines that will outlive many of the red wines from our region. Here’s where we put our money where our mouth is: you have an opportunity to see how the passage of time massages the flavours and acidity, rubbing off sharp corners and developing greater depth, layering and complexity.

We have pulled out the 2nd release of Skuld to show, vintage variation from a wine made the same way from the same vineyard.

Ian Hongell was formerly chief winemaker for Peter Lehmann and responsible for many of the great Wigan Rieslings released over the last decade. He was thrilled to continue his Riesling legacy with Otherness in tandem with his chief winemaker duties at Torbreck, where he is crafting some of the Barossa’s most exciting wines made from classic Rhone Varietals.
