Winemaker: Mark Bulman

An aromatic and elegant Rose made by one of Australia’s great Rosé & Grenache winemakers from 100% Barossa Valley Grenache.

The Barossa’s take on Rosé was revitalised during Mark Bulman’s long Jimmy Watson-winning tenure as Turkey Flat winemaker. During that time, Mark worked closely with Otherness Brand Manager Andy Ellis and a great friendship developed. This friendship expanded when Mark and his young family moved into a house a couple of doors away from Grant Dickson in Angaston; summer evenings on his back verandah, barbecues and discussion of great bottles of wine. Mark is a formidable wine brain: someone who encourages you to think outside the stereotypes. Imagine our pleasure when he informed us that he was going to make a small-release Grenache Rosé for release under the Otherness label! Pale, dry and perfumed, I can’t wait for summer, and just hope that our small stocks last until the warmer months arrive.
